AGATE

Agate is one of the most beautiful minerals, distinguished by its layered structure. This natural silica mineral, belonging to the chalcedony family, occurs in a wide range of colors; the most common colors of this stone are white, gray, light blue, red, orange, and black.

The name comes from the Achates River in Sicily.

It is known as the stone of balance or love.

In ancient times, agate was valued for its properties, and today it is one of the most frequently used stones for jewelry, artistic, and decorative objects. Thanks to its unique structure and beautiful patterns, each agate is unique, making it extremely popular among mineral enthusiasts and jewelers.

It is formed through volcanic processes, where successive layers of minerals are deposited in rock voids over thousands of years. This is what makes each agate absolutely unique—different in pattern, tone, and structure.

Its natural strands can take on shades of gray, blue, pink, brown, or green, creating harmonious and often mesmerizing compositions.
